:0) there is a serious lack of conscious music these days. This sister takes me back to 90s hip-hop, back when we were "sister" and "brother" and it was cool to know our history and truly look out for each other. I saw Nneka in ATL with Nas and Damian Marley a few weeks back and bought her album from iTunes DURING her set! She is something powerful- something serious! This is real music! Conscious Music! This is music that reminds us who we are, who created us and how we should be living with each other. Thanks for listening, B!!!
